Activities for Active Dogs and Pampered Cats
The pet-loving staff at Barkefellers knows that activity and interaction are good for your pets, especially active dogs. We’ve developed the following list of pet lodging activities to keep tails wagging for even the most active dogs and ensure that cats are satisfied too. Since you know your pet better than anyone, we invite you to look over the list and choose the pet activities that you think best meet your pet’s needs.
Group play. Dogs who pass a temperament evaluation can play and socialize with other dogs under the close supervision of our trained staff. Dogs are grouped according to size and/or play style for safety and optimal enjoyment.
Cuddle Time. Guests enjoy one-on-one attention, affection, and interaction with a staff member. Belly rubs, ear scratches, and friendly conversation included!
Private play. Active dogs who prefer to play with a person or who are not suitable for Group Play will enjoy one-on-one play sessions with a staff member.
Bed-time Tuck-in. A caring staff member visits the guest’s suite just before bedtime to make sure they are comfy and cozy for a good night’s sleep.
Nature Park. Barkefellers outdoor play area features artificial turf play areas which are both cleaner and safer for dogs. Our spacious nature park offers your pet The Place to chase balls, chew on toys, and in the summer time we even have misters and pools to help them stay cool when playing outside.
Kitty Cuddle. Guests can revel in the undivided attention and affection of a cat-loving staff member. Cats will get their fill of petting and purring.
Feline Fun Time. A cat-loving staff member treats your feline to a rollicking play session – with toys from home or toys we provide. This is a great time for your cat to exercise and enjoy human interaction outside the suite and within the safe confines of the Cattery.
