Medical Care

Our guests health and safety are our number one priority.  Our guests medical records, personality profiles, and special needs are carefully recorded to ensure a safe and healthy stay at Barkefellers.  Our pet technicians have Pet First Aid & CPR certification, as well as ABKA Pet Care Level One certification.

Barkefellers will administer oral medications, injections and topical medications for $1.00 each. Guests requiring specialized care are handled on a case-by-case basis.  All medications provided by the owner must be clearly labeled and include written instructions with the pet's name, type of medication, dosage and schedule.

In the rare event that a guest should require medical attention while in our care, every effort will be made to contact you, your veterinarian on record, and/or your emergency contact person for instructions.  Barkefellers, in its sole discretion, may engage the services of our on-call veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital for evaluation, regardless of the instructions on the pet's profile form.

Pet Assure Program

For your piece of mind, Barkefellers offers our Pet Assure program. If a guest requires medical care while staying with us, or for a period of 7 days after check-out, we will pay that guest's veterinarian bill up to $300.
