CONTRACT
The annual vaccinations for Rabies, DHLPP, FVRCP and Bordetella (Kennel Cough) are required of all pets boarded and/or receiving other pet services provided by Barkefellers.
We agree to exercise due and reasonable care and to keep our facility premises sanitary and properly enclosed. The pet is to be fed regularly and properly and to be housed in clean, safe quarters. The pet is not to be taken off the premises except by the consent of the owner, or at the direction of the owner, or in case of illness when the pet needs to be taken to the veterinarian.
If the state of the pet’s health requires veterinary care, we reserve the right to call a veterinarian or administer medication or give other advisable attention within our discretion, and such expenses shall be paid by the owner of the pet (after the maximum amount of the Pet Assure Guarantee has been reached). Pets suspected of having worms will be examined and treated accordingly at owner’s expense. Pets bearing fleas and/or ticks will be treated at owner’s expense.
All pets are boarded and/or groomed by us without liability on our part for loss or damage from disease, death, running away, theft, fire, injury to persons, injury to or by other pets, or injury to property by said pet, or other unavoidable causes.
It is understood that the charge for boarding begins the day the pet is brought in to Barkefellers and ceases when the pet is discharged to the owner. The owner will be charged according to our checkout time; any pet staying past the posted daily checkout time is subject to an additional full day charge. All charges must be paid in full before the pet can be discharged. The pet will only be released to the rightful owner, unless specified at time of drop off by the rightful owner. Pets not claimed within 14 days of scheduled return date will be disposed of at our discretion unless notification of delay is received. The owner agrees to pay all legal fees necessary to collect pet care expenses.
The signing of this contract denotes blanket consent for any and all times Barkefellers provides boarding, grooming, day care or training services.

Barkefellers’ Pet Assure Health Guarantee covers expenses for unexpected illness or injury during your pet’s boarding stay, or within seven days of your pet’s departure from the kennel, up to $300. The program does not cover any pre-existing or chronic medical conditions. Also not covered is an injury caused by one of your pets to another if they share a boarding space as requested by you.
